Como imigrar para o Canada (Federal Skilled Worker)

Federal Skilled Worker (FSW):


- 1º Passo - Elegibilidade:

proficiência no idioma + proposta de emprego permanente*

OU

proficiência no idioma + ter uma das ocupações listadas na tabela**


* a proposta de emprego deve ser permanente, e deve ser confirmada pelo Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC), que é um equivalente ao nosso Ministério do Trabalho. É trabalhoso para o empregador, então raramente é feito.

** além de ter uma das ocupações listadas a seguir, tem que comprovar pelo menos 1 ano de experiência full-time nessa ocupação, nos últimos 10 anos. A partir da mudança ocorrida em 26/06/2010, no máximo 20.000 processos pelo FSW, sendo no máximo 1.000 para cada ocupação, serão aceitos por ano. Os processos enviados que excederem esse número serão devolvidos e suas taxas serão devolvidas.

OBS: se casado ou união estável (> 1 ano) escolher como aplicante principal o que somar maior número de pontos ou que tiver condições de comprovar os critérios que somam 67 pontos. Para efeito de imigração canadense pode ser considerada união estável um relacionamento conjugal maior do que 1 ano, mesmo entre pessoas do mesmo sexo.

Antes do envio da aplicação o candidato deverá fazer o teste de proficiência do idioma. Como o Canadá tem 2 idiomas oficiais (inglês e francês), deve-se escolher qual deles será o idioma oficial e qual será o segundo idioma. para somar pontos é permitido realizar testes nos 2 idiomas (resultados serão somados de acordo com a tabela abaixo). Se for possível somar 67 pontos sem necessitar do segundo idioma, o segundo teste não é necessário.

There is no need to have obtained a degree or diploma for these two years of study to earn these points.

You can claim five additional points if you have arranged employment as described in the Arranged Employment selection factor.

- 3º Passo – Prova de recursos financeiros: é necessário provar que o candidato possui o mínimo de dinheiro necessário para manter a si mesmo e à sua família no período de adaptação. O valor exigido varia de acordo com o número de membros da família e é reajustado anualmente. Lembre-se que o valor exigido pelo Canadá nem sempre é suficiente para que o candidato se mantenha até que consiga se inserir no mercado de trabalho. portanto, guarde o máximo de dinheiro que puder, independente do valor exigido.
